Just finished a book ''L'enseignement de Soweto'' by Christophe Hutin (''Learning from Soweto'').
One of his experiences is when he observed the building process of a shak in Soweto.
The people didn't built it with a plan, they did it like a jazz improvisation.
That's how he realized why these architectures are so full of life, on the contrary to the ''well planned'' occidental buildings.

At De Hagelaar, it also seems to be built like this. This is quite different from the perfect gardens of the neighbourhood !

This improvisation thing interests us a lot. We'll try to act like this.
